What is the Sunday Sunrise Showdown?

The Sunday Sunrise Showdown is a structured open-play event for for high beginner and intermediate players. This is a non-dupr rated event where members will be added into swish to be mixed up in a doubles round robin. At the end of 5 rounds, the top four players (by average point differential) will face each other in a doubles show-down match for the winning title. 

What is the game format?

• Players will be randomly assigned to 5 games of doubles play in Swish
• For each round, players play 1 game 11 points, win by 1 point
• The final show-down match is one doubles game played to 11 points, win by 2 points.

Please read the following prior to signing up for this event.

If a player signs up for an event, the following will be expected of them

1. Players will be on time to be entered into the round robin. Late players will not be allowed to participate, but can join regular open-play.

2. The top four players for the showdown will be selected based on their average point differential for the round robin. 

3. Players will stay for the duration of the event. 

4. Players will exhibit good sportsmanship.
