Frequently Asked Axe Throwing Questions
What is axe throwing?
Axe throwing is throwing an axe at a wooden target to stick it in the bullseye — like darts for people who want more excitement. Our coaches help you learn proper technique safely.
I've never thrown an axe. Will someone teach us?
Absolutely. Our instructors show you proper throwing techniques so you can hit the bullseye. Many first-time throwers pick it up quickly with coaching.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in — this is axe throwing, not a formal event.
Can I drink while throwing axes?
Yes, when done responsibly. We offer craft beers, seltzers, and other beverages. Safety rules always apply on the lanes.
Can kids participate?
Throwers must be at least 10 years old with a parent or guardian present. Anyone 17 and under needs a guardian on site. Contact us for younger groups.
Do you host birthday and bachelor parties?
Yes — birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate events, and large groups are our specialty. Book online or call to plan your event.
Can I join a league?
We offer league play through the World Axe Throwing League. Ask our team or your coach how to get involved in weekly competition nights.
Is there more to do than axe throwing?
Yes — catch the game on our HDTVs, enjoy the bar, and try additional table games and throwing items during your visit.
No outside beverages. Closed-toe shoes and signed waivers required for all participants.
Still have questions?
