FAQs

Do I need to book in advance or can I walk in?

We accept both reservations and walk-ins, though we recommend booking ahead, especially for weekend visits and larger groups. Online reservations ensure you have a lane reserved and minimizes wait time.

What's the minimum age to throw axes at Lumberjack?

Participants must be at least 14 years old, and anyone under 18 needs a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. All first-time throwers receive instruction from our staff before stepping up to the line.

Can we host a private event or group outing?

Yes, we offer private event reservations for birthdays, corporate outings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and other group celebrations. Contact us about availability and custom packages for your group size.

How long is each axe throwing session?

Standard sessions last about 90 minutes and include instruction, warm-up throws, and competitive games. This gives your group plenty of time to learn the fundamentals and enjoy friendly competition.

What should I wear to axe throwing?

Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes you can move in. We provide everything else—gloves, aprons, and safety equipment. Avoid loose or baggy sleeves that could get in your way.

Is axe throwing safe?

Safety is our top priority. Our lanes are separated by barriers, and our certified instructors teach proper technique before anyone throws. We maintain strict safety protocols so you can focus on having fun.
