Every animal in McMinn County deserves a way home.
We shelter, heal, and rehome dogs and cats across the region, and we run the area's low-cost spay and neuter clinic so fewer of them end up needing us.
Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm. Call (423) 744-9548.
Every adoption includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip.
Spay and neuter surgery for dogs and cats across McMinn County.
Fosters, volunteers, and donors keep the kennels open.
A small shelter with a big county to look after
McMinn Regional Humane Society is a nonprofit run by a local board, a small staff, and a lot of volunteers. We take in strays, work with animal control, educate kids and families about responsible pet care, and connect people to resources so pets can stay in the homes they already have.
Open for adoptions Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm at 320 S. Jackson St., Suite A, Athens, Tennessee 37303.
