The state of Illinois is officially in Phase 5 (fully reopened).  Our YMCA will be fully reopening on Monday, 6/14/21

Due to our facility being a vaccination site, as well as a Day Camp for children who aren't able to get vaccinated, masks must be worn when entering the facility and in all common areas, (hallways, bathrooms locker rooms etc.). In all other areas including programming, mask Does NOT NEED TO BE WORN, unless your 3-6ft social distance is compromised! You may continue to wear your masks at your own discretion, at all times in our facility if you feel more ore comfortable doing so. We will continue to monitor and update these guidelines on a regular basis so that our polices our aligned with CDC, IDPH and YUSA safety recommendations. New session begins on Monday, 6/14/21 and runs through Sunday, 8/22/21. Classes are free to members, please be sure to obtain a class pass from front desk and submit pass to instructor for admittance into classes.



• CDC and IDPH safety guidelines, policies and procedures must be followed at all times while visiting our facility. Please be sure to check our website for the latest updates on Covid-19 policies. • Classes are first come first serve, Participants must obtain class pass from front desk in order to participate. Classes are FREE to Pav YMCA a members ages 16+, and there’s a $5 per class drop in fee for guests who would like to participate in GX classes. Drop in classes will only be open for classes that are not full capacity for that day. There is a maximum of 20 participants per class. 


Classes Formats and Descriptions

BODY BOOT CAMP Strength, resistance, and interval training are all used to keep your muscles guessing through this workout. Bring on the sweat as you shape it up! 

CARDIO BLAST:  This class is a form of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which incorporates short intervals of workouts proceeded by levels: cardio and core emphasis with some strength training, burning up to 800 calories per class and boosting metabolism. 

INDOOR CYCLING: This class is a great cardiovascular workout. Pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises. All levels are welcome.

INTERVAL TRAINING:  Open to all experience levels, this class is a rigorous interval training sequence with high-intensity exercises. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow dance moves that tone and sculpt the body. 

SPINOGA: This cardio-holistic fitness program blends Yoga and Freestyle Indoor Cycling ALL IN ONE class to offer participants a total mind-body workout! Class begins with cycling on a stationary bike followed by traditional yoga. The yoga component to cycle offers a greater opportunity to build length and flexibility.

ZUMBA: This dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system incorporates international music and dance movements burning up to 700 calories per class! It’s so motivating and fun, you won’t even realize you are working out!

Masks are required to be worn when entering the facilities, in ALL common areas (locker rooms hallways, bathrooms etc.), or whenever you are not able to safely practice social distance. Due to the close proximity that you will be in, you and our massage therapists must have masks on at all times fully covering Mouth and nose.
