Thank you all for your participation this past week in Atlanta.  We very much enjoyed hosting everyone and we hope that you had a terrific experience playing in the tournament.

As a follow up to our email from last week, we are continuing to work on the technology issue we experienced with getting correct match scores passed to DUPR.  Most all Women's/Men's/Mixed Doubles matches have been corrected, but there are still two areas that are continuing to be addressed.  Both situations described below are working to be resolved as soon as possible.

Synching player profiles to DUPR:

• We have 9 players where we are having some technical difficulties synching their Ace Pickleball Club accounts with their DUPR accounts. Matches including these players are not posted to DUPR currently, but they will be posted as soon as these profiles are linked properly.  If you are missing a Men's/Women's/Mixed Doubles game within DUPR currently, this is likely the issue.

Team event DUPR Posting:

• Most scores from our Team event were not posting correctly to DUPR.  We are currently in discussions with DUPR to uncover the issue and get that corrected.

We will continue to work as quickly as possible to get these scores posted correctly in DUPR.

The weather forecast for overnight predicts light snow or flurries with less than .50 inch accumulation in early morning hours with snow continuing throughout the morning. 

We do not want to cancel anything based on a forecast of snow.  Maybe it will happen.  Maybe it will be worse than expected?  And maybe it will be a non issue. Weather is a tricky thing to predict.

Rather than postpone to a later morning start time when more snow has likely fallen, our current plan is to proceed with the tournament as planned with no change to the schedule.  

As it relates to your ability to travel to/from the club tomorrow, please make the best choice for you.  Everyone has a different comfort level with various weather conditions.  Please be safe and do what is right for you.  Our plan is to be there for everyone and provide the opportunity for everyone who can be there to compete.

If the weather forecasts are off dramatically or if for any reason we are unable to continue the tournament as planned at any point tomorrow, we will update everyone further via email.

Please continue to monitor your emails frequently for any updates to be posted,  If things are proceeding as planned, no further updates will be provided.

With the possibility of snow in the forecast for tonight/tomorrow, we will be watching the weather closely throughout the day and into the night.

If/when we feel that the weather will impact play on Saturday in any way, we will send an email to all players describing any changes that are made to Saturday's schedule.  Please check your email early in the morning before you leave to head to the club in case any changes to the schedule have been announced overnight.

In limited situations, we are experiencing issues with accurate scores flowing through to DUPR.  

All scores have been recorded accurately in our tournament management system, but are not being captured accurately by DUPR in some instances.  

If you see a score on your DUPR profile that is inaccurate, please send an email to us at nationalchampionship@acepickleballclub.com pointing us to the match in question.  Your email should include your Event Type, Skill/Age level, and all player names and the DUPR ID from the match (located in the bottom left corner of the match view in DUPR).  Alternatively, a screenshot of the match from the DUPR app will suffice.

We will review that info and make corrections as quickly as possible.  We have the correct scores in our system, so we do not need you to remember or send us the scores.

Once corrected, the match will update in DUPR under the same date of play and each players DUPR calculation will be updated accordingly.

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to making any corrections needed.

To all Friday January 30th Skill Division players

While we understand that many people will be challenged or possibly unable to travel to Atlanta over the coming days, as of today we do expect that the Roswell club will be open and operational on Tuesday and through the remainder of the tournament dates.

• To give everyone the best possible chance to get to Atlanta and still be able to play in their Skill Division on TUESDAY, we are adjusting the starting time of any play to 1pm rather than at 7am as originally planned.  Women's Doubles players have been notified of this change.
• To help all FRIDAY players be able to fully enjoy the Player Party on Friday evening, we have made some adjustments to the Friday match time schedule for most all Skill Divisions that will allow all play to conclude at approximately 6:30pm.

Updated Arrival times, Briefing Meeting times and First Match times are listed below for all Skill Divisions.

Arrival Times are listed below for all Mixed Doubles Divisions that are being played in the APC National Championship in Atlanta.

All Divisions are being played on the same days that were communicated in November when the tournament location was changed to Atlanta.  

Start times for some Divisions have been adjusted due to Pool size changes or in an effort to move a Division to start earlier in the day.  We have had several time shifts and some players have received emails from us about start time changes for your division.  Start times may have changed since you received that previous email.  The data below and in the attached link below are now FINAL times.  Please review them carefully.

Pool Play and all Playoff Match times for ALL Events Types and Skill Divisions across the entire National Championship can be referenced here.

Please arrive at or before the posted Arrival Time to be ready for your event to start.

We will have a Briefing Meeting 15 minutes after your scheduled Arrival Time and Matches will start immediately following the Briefing Meeting.

All teams will be provided with a brief warm up time on the court prior to their first match of the day.

IMPORTANT NOTE - As communicated in November, most Playoff matches are scheduled for 6:30pm on the day of Pool Play (some are played immediately after Pool Play ends).  At 6:30 pm each day we will have Prime Time Playoffs happening within the club as up to 13 semifinal matches a night will be played at 6:30pm followed by Gold Medal and Bronze medal matches at 7:30pm.

You can access the APC Tournament Management site by clicking the "View Tournament" button below to view all teams in your Division.  Pool Play assignments currently visible on the site are only temporary.  All Pools are currently under review and final Pools will be posted for all events by the end of the day on Monday, Jan 26th.
